crunchy bars
My family loves to eat these healthy treats. They taste so good,you would never guess that they are healthy too. I am always on the lookout for snacks that full of protein and not loaded with sugar. I hope your family likes them too!
Crunchy bars
Makes 12-16 bars
4cups uncooked oatmeal
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter or margarine
(for an added bonus a handful of dried fruit, like raisins is nice)
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Press into well-greased 9 inch square pan.
2. Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into bars.
